Central Vietnam in the Storm and Flood Season: When Humanity is the Anchor

These days, Central Vietnam continues to face prolonged storms, rain, and flooding, severely impacting the lives of its people and the region’s infrastructure. Natural disasters are a frequent test for this resilient strip of land, but every time we see images of rising floodwaters, and schools and homes being swept away, we gain a deeper understanding of the hardships the people endure.

Despite the harshness of the weather, we always witness something beautiful amidst the chaos: the spirit of sharing and unity of the Vietnamese people.

From the directing efforts of the Government and the frontline forces, to the companionship of the business community, and the collective strength of people across the three regions, all are creating a powerful resource to help Central Vietnam overcome the difficulties sooner.

Notably, many international friends—tourists, partners, and foreign experts living and working in Vietnam—have also sent their profound regards and shared their concern. This once again shows that humanity knows no borders, and Vietnam is consistently recognized as a nation rich in compassion.
